Link Listings to Stitch Inventory

To manage inventory and orders in Stitch, ensure that each item you sell on your channel—each channel listing—is "linked" (mapped) to a variant in Stitch. There are three methods for linking channel listings to Stitch inventory:

Note: This article applies to both our Stitch X and Stitch Classic Versions.

Auto Import products from your primary sales channel only.

When Stitch is set to automatically import products from your channel, Stitch will import each channel listing as a new variant, linking the two together.

Note: You may be able to Auto Import and Auto Link from the same channel. In these cases, Stitch won't import a channel listing as a new variant if the SKU already matches one found in Stitch. With Auto Link enabled as well, Stitch will automatically link the channel listing to the existing SKU in Stitch.

Automatically link from secondary channels using matching SKUs.

When integrating secondary sales channels, choose Auto Link. Stitch won't automatically create products from this channel. If you sell the same item across multiple sales channels—and that item has the same SKU wherever it's sold—Stitch can automatically link that item back to the corresponding inventory in Stitch.

Manually link whenever needed.

Items that don't map to Stitch inventory are called "unlinked listings." Unlinked listings prevent you from accurately managing inventory and orders in Stitch. To manually link, see fix unlinked listings.
