Auto Link

To manage inventory and orders from Stitch, inventory on your channel must be linked to inventory in Stitch. With Auto Link, Stitch will automatically link products on your channel to products in Stitch based on matching SKUs. To auto link properly, Stitch requires unique SKUs at the variant/variation level.

Note: This article applies to both our Stitch X and Stitch Classic Versions.

How It Works

Stitch displays each item you sell on your channel as a channel listing.

On each sync, Stitch will scan that channel's unlinked listings for the current SKU. If Stitch finds a unique SKU match in Stitch inventory, Stitch will automatically link the channel listing back to the matching Stitch variant.

If Stitch doesn't find a unique SKU match, update your SKUs or manually fix the unlinked listing.

Recommended Use

When integrating a channel whose products already exist in Stitch, choose Auto Link during the setup process.

How to Enable

You can change auto link settings at any time:
  1. From the Channels page, click the ⚙  icon for the channel you wish to auto link.
  2. From the Auto Link dropdown menu, tell Stitch where to find matching SKUs:
    Auto Import
  3. Click Save. On the next sync, Stitch will automatically link whatever channel SKUs have a unique match.
