How can we help?
Amazon - FBA Stock Control
- How It Works
- Enabling FBA Stock Control
- Viewing FBA Stock in Stitch
- Deleting FBA Listings
- Managing FBA Orders in Stitch
Note: Not all plans include Third Party Stock Control. If you don't see this option in your account, contact Support.multi-warehousing.
When multi-warehousing and FBA stock control are both enabled, you'll have (at minimum) two warehouses: My Default Warehouse (your primary pool of merchant-held stock) and an FBA warehouse sharing the name of your Amazon integration.
Note: Stock levels in Amazon warehouses can't be manually adjusted. Amazon completely controls these warehouses and will update Stitch stock accordingly.
Account owners and administrators can enable FBA Stock Control in two steps.
First, go to Account Menu > Stitch Settings > General Settings > Feature Settings. From Feature Settings, confirm that multi-warehousing (required) is already enabled, then toggle Third Party Stock Control On.
Next, go to Integrations > Channels to set Amazon as Master of Stock for FBA listings on a particular Amazon channel. In your Amazon channel settings, you should see two Master of Stock settings:
For Master of Stock (FBA), select Amazon is the Master. When you do this, an Amazon-controlled warehouse will be created in Stitch.
Note: For FBA, the Master of Stock setting can only be adjusted at the channel level—not at the listing level, as available for other listings. You can also view FBA stock information by going to the Variant Details of a Linked Variant:
If you delete a listing in Seller Central before stock is clear in Stitch, the Amazon warehouse stock in Stitch will be stuck with the last value Amazon pushed to Stitch. There will be no way for you or Stitch Support to reset this value.
When an Amazon order is partially FBA and partially merchant fulfilled, Amazon will automatically break it into two orders. One order will contain only the FBA listings and will be automatically closed. The other order will contain only the merchant-fulfilled listings and will be left open for you to process.
