Product and Variant Profitability

These reports show sales profitability by product and variant. Use them to measure the sales performance of your products.

Note: This article applies to both our Stitch X and Stitch Classic Versions.

Note: Cost and profit are calculated off of the current average unit cost.

Parameters

Filter by order date and sales channel.

These reports exclude discounts.

Data

Both reports return the following fields:

Field Definition
Revenue Listed Price x Qty Sold
Average Unit Cost The current average unit cost of the variant or product
Qty Sold The quantity of the variant or product sold within the timeframe
Cost of Sale Total Sale amount of the variant or product sold within the time frame (AUC x Qty Sold)
Revenue Revenue less the Cost of Sale
Profit PCT Percentage of profit produced
Stock Current stock for the variant or product
Awaiting Unreceived units on an open purchase order
Date_Added When the product or variant was added into Stitch

Use Cases

Use these reports to assess the cost and profitability of each variant and product within your inventory. This information can help you decide which items to phase out and which ones to continue ordering.
