Auto Import

Last Updated: May 05, 2019 08:29PM PDT
When a channel is set to Auto Import, Stitch will automatically import that channel's products and create corresponding products in your Stitch inventory.

Note: This article applies to both our Stitch X and Stitch Classic Versions.

How It Works

When you integrate a sales channel, Stitch imports each variation of each item you sell as a channel listing. Auto Import creates a corresponding Stitch variant for each channel listing, linking the two together:
When Stitch detects new listings on your sales channel, it will automatically import those, too, but Stitch imports each variant only once.

Note: Updates to previously imported listings won't update variants in Stitch.

Recommended Use

Auto import from your primary sales channel—wherever you list most of your products.

If you sell a completely unique set of products on another channel, you can safely auto import from there, as well.

Tip: When integrating secondary channels, don't auto import. Instead, choose Auto Link.

How to Change Setting

Users can set auto import during the initial integration process.

To view your settings, go to the Channels page, click the ⚙ icon next to any channel, and find the Auto Import header:
